As a community, let’s KEEP this momentum of growth going! Join us again this Sunday (Sep 18) for classes with Aja Fenn and Yves René. Who is Yves?? Well.. :) you know we only bring you the good stuff. Yves is a wonderful tango dancer and an experienced teacher that we are thrilled to have on board. Here is a little more about him:

Born in DC, Yves discovered tango in Boston in 2007 and was captivated at first sight. He encourages students to explore both sides of the embrace, to provide a rich understanding of the tango connection. He approaches tango learning as a lifelong journey, and strives to support a community that fosters students’ continued growth in tango outside of their lessons. After teaching in Boston since 2015, he moved to DC in 2020 and is thrilled to be part of such a vibrant and growing tango hub.

We believe that different teachers have their own gifts and unique things to share, and that a community needs many influences to grow and thrive. This series will be a medley of teachers including Masha Abapolnikova and our long time friend and teaching colleague Gabriel Medeiros, who we also want to introduce to the community. As a team, we have planned 6 fun weeks of our favorite tools, insights and tango vocabulary for you.

An Update on our COVID policy:

Following the lead of many tango organizers, the team at Fábrica Tango feels comfortable allowing un-vaccinated folks to join our classes and events with the caveat of showing a negative home test taken the same day. We hope you will all be comfortable with this change so that we may welcome back those we have missed for a very long time in the safest way possible.
