Workshops with Vania Rey and new classes!
We are very excited to host Vania Rey at Fábrica Tango for the first time this Spring (May 23-26). We also have two brand new weekly classes starting next Tuesday - read on!
About Vania
A versatile instructor who is well-versed in both lead and follow roles, Vania is able to teach alone, and perform with either male or female partners.
As a dancer and performer, Vania is known for her sensual elegance, exquisite musicality, amazing embrace, creativity and playfulness, all of which have made her a sought after performance partner for many teachers with various dancing styles.
In her teaching Vania concentrates on the technique necessary for making tango steps easy to execute and pleasing to the partner. She pays special attention to three key areas: precision of movement, creating a comfortable embrace for leads and followers, and musicality.

6 weeks focused on the essential skills & building blocks required to comfortably lead and follow two sister dances of Argentine Tango: energetic Milonga and flowy Vals.
Masha and Aja are holding these classes on Tuesday nights in the gorgeous ESL bar in Shaw. Every class is followed by a free Practica until 10pm.
